The film continues the story of Mohanlal’s character Stephen Nedumpally / Khureshi Abraam, expanding the political and criminal universe introduced in Lucifer. This role demanded technical precision, speed, and strong communication on a tightly timed broadcast.

THE PROSPECT
Cinematographer
The Prospect is a narrative short that leans on mood, composition, and performance to tell its story, rather than heavy dialogue or spectacle. I approached the cinematography with a grounded, cinematic style, using light, color, and contrast to separate emotional beats and guide the viewer’s attention. As the cinematographer, I led all visual decisions on set, including camera placement, lensing, lighting design, and movement, collaborating closely with the director to translate the story into a cohesive visual plan. My focus was on creating images that feel both intimate and cinematic, while still being practical within an indie production schedule.
